Miles Bergsma is an award-winning composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles, California. From an early age, Miles has had a passion for film music which led him to the Berklee College of Music where he graduated Summa Cum Laude as a Film Scoring and Classical Composition dual major. During his time at Berklee, Miles was awarded the Youth Concerts At Symphony Hall Award in recognition of his original compositions, as well as winning the MTNA Composing Competition for the entire state of Massachusetts for his piece 'Eight' for Piano Trio with an honorable mention at the Divisional Level for the Eastern United States.

Since moving to Los Angeles, Miles has worked alongside some of the industry's greatest composers such as Lawrence Shragge, Brian Kirk, Deborah Lurie, Klaus Badelt, and Danny Elfman. Miles' work has been featured in films such as Nicholas Sparks' Safe Haven and Katy Perry: Part of Me, television shows including NCIS: New Orleans and NCIS, several TV movies for the Lifetime and Hallmark Networks, as well as in the advertising world for companies such as Toyota and Twitter. Miles recently scored the short film Dollar King directed by Drew Pollins which won the College Emmy for Best Comedy in 2017. 

From playing guitar in rock, blues, and jazz bands in his youth, to studying classical composition and the electronic sides of modern film scoring, Miles' range as a composer is wide and ever-growing.
